Tips:

  • Select the freshest vegetables: Choose vegetables that are firm, brightly colored, and free from blemishes. This will ensure the best flavor and texture in your tian.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: The more variety of vegetables you use, the more flavorful your tian will be. Try to include a mix of vegetables with different colors, textures, and flavors.
  • Slice the vegetables thinly: This will help them cook evenly and quickly. If the vegetables are too thick, they may not cook through properly.
  • Season the vegetables well: Don't be afraid to season the vegetables generously with salt and pepper. This will help to bring out their natural flavors.
  • Use a good quality olive oil: Olive oil is the traditional fat used in tian. It adds a delicious flavor and helps to keep the vegetables moist.
  • Bake the tian until the vegetables are tender: The cooking time will vary depending on the type of vegetables you are using. Check the tian regularly to make sure that the vegetables are not overcooked.

Conclusion:

Tian is a delicious and versatile dish that can be served as a main course or a side dish. It is a great way to use up fresh vegetables and is a healthy and flavorful addition to any meal.
