Tips:

  • Choose fresh and tender spinach: Wilted or yellowed spinach will not taste as good and will not provide the same nutritional benefits.
  • Use a variety of oranges: Different types of oranges, such as navel, Valencia, and blood oranges, will provide different flavors and colors to the salad.
  • Slice the oranges thinly: This will help them to blend in with the other ingredients and make the salad easier to eat.
  • Use a sharp knife to slice the red onion: This will help to prevent the onion from tearing and will make it easier to slice it thinly.
  • Add the almonds just before serving: This will help to keep them crunchy.
  • Serve the salad immediately: This will help to prevent the spinach from wilting.

Conclusion:

This fresh spinach, orange, and red onion salad is a delicious and healthy way to enjoy fresh produce. It is perfect for a light lunch or dinner, and it can also be served as a side dish. The combination of sweet oranges, tangy red onion, and crunchy almonds is sure to please everyone.
