Tips:

  • Use fresh oranges for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh oranges, you can use orange juice, but the flavor will not be as good.
  • Zest the oranges before you juice them. This will give the custard a more intense orange flavor.
  • Strain the custard mixture before you cook it. This will remove any lumps and ensure a smooth custard.
  • Cook the custard over medium heat, stirring constantly. This will prevent the custard from curdling.
  • Do not overcook the custard. It should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, but it should not be too thick.
  • Serve the custard warm or cold. It can be served on its own or used as a topping for other desserts, such as pie or cake.

Conclusion:

Fresh orange soft custard is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its creamy texture and bright orange flavor, this custard is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
