1 onion, sliced
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic
1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Steps:

  • Steam or cook carrots and green beans in boiling water.
  • Cook until tender, but still firm.

Tips:

  • To make the dressing, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until well combined.
  • To assemble the salad, combine the blanched green beans, tomatoes, red onion, and parsley in a large bowl. Drizzle with the dressing and toss to coat evenly.
  • Serve the salad immediately, or chill it for later.

Conclusion:

This fresh green bean medley is a delicious and healthy side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal preferences. For a more flavorful salad, try using a variety of different types of tomatoes, such as cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, or heirloom tomatoes. You can also add other vegetables to the salad, such as cucumber, bell pepper, or corn. If you are looking for a vegan or vegetarian salad, you can omit the bacon.
