Tips:

  • Choose fresh corn. The fresher the corn, the sweeter and more flavorful your fritters will be. Look for corn that is plump and has a bright yellow color.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the corn kernels off the cob. This will help to prevent the kernels from becoming mashed or crushed.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the fritters tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Cook the fritters over medium heat. This will help to prevent them from burning on the outside while remaining raw on the inside.
  • Serve the fritters hot. Fresh corn fritters are best enjoyed hot out of the skillet. You can serve them with a variety of dipping sauces, such as ketchup, barbecue sauce, or sour cream.

Conclusion:

Fresh corn fritters are a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for summer cookouts and potlucks. They are also a great way to use up leftover corn. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a batch of fritters that everyone will love. So next time you have some fresh corn on hand, be sure to give this recipe a try!
