Categories     Chicken     Appetizer     Bake

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 chicken breast fillets (boneless, skinless, fatless...cleaned off)
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons salt (matt and I used seasoned salt)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup Frank's hot sauce
1-2 table spoons margarine

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 Slice chicken breast into 6 pieces (each breast cut into 3 strips) Combine flour, salt, pepper in a bowl In another bowl whisk together egg and milk Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then into the flour mixture. Repeat so that each piece is double coated Place chicken pieces onto a pan (that has been covered with vegetable oil) Place chicken into oven for ~10-12 minutes depending on the size of the wings (check on pieces and flip when crispy so both sides done) While chicken is cooking, melt margarine and then whisk in the hot sauce. Place chicken on a plate and pour sauce over chicken strips

FRANK'S CHICKEN WINGS

Frank's Chicken Wings image

These chicken wings are delicious. You can adjust the amount of 'zing' for the sauce by reducing or increasing the amount of hot sauce. If you don't like it hot, you can subtitute bbq sauce, a ketchup and soy sauce mixture, honey and garlic, or whatever you'd like!

Time 30m

Yield 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 lbs chicken wings
1 cup frank's hot sauce (or you can make your own- see my hot sauce recipe!)
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 cup low-fat sour cream
1/4 cup dill
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
3 tablespoons onions or 3 tablespoons chives

Steps:

  • Cut chicken wings at joints.
  • Deep fry chicken for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oil and drain.
  • Immediately, coat chicken in the following ingredients which are combined in a bowl: hot sauce, lemon juice, and butter.
  • In a serving dish, combine sour cream, dill, and parsley for dipping.
  • Place wings on a platter with dipping sauce beside it.

Tips:

  • Use a good quality buffalo sauce. This is the key ingredient in these wings, so make sure you choose one that you like. There are many different brands and flavors of buffalo sauce available, so you can find one that suits your taste.
  • Don't overcook the wings. They should be cooked through, but still juicy. Overcooked wings will be dry and tough.
  • Serve the wings with your favorite dipping sauce. Ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, and celery sticks are all popular choices.
  • Make sure the chicken wings are dry before frying them. This will help them get crispy.
  • Use a large pot or fryer to cook the chicken wings. This will help prevent them from overcrowding and sticking together.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different flavors. You can add different spices, herbs, or sauces to the wings to create your own unique recipe.

Conclusion:

Frank's chicken wings are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for parties or game day gatherings. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can make these wings at home that taste just as good as the ones from your favorite restaurant. So next time you're looking for a tasty and satisfying snack, give Frank's chicken wings a try. You won't be disappointed!
