Time 45m

Yield 1 casserole dish, 8-10 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

8 ounces Franks chicken wing sauce
12 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces ranch salad dressing or 8 ounces blue cheese dressing (or combination of both)
2 -4 cups shredded cooked chicken breasts
2 -3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, to taste

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • You can eat this cold, as is-- or heat it up.
  • To heat: Bake in casserole dish at about 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes until everything melts together.
  • Serve with crackers, tortilla chips or bagel chips.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the dip will taste. Use fresh chicken, cream cheese, and vegetables.
  • Don't overcook the chicken. Overcooked chicken will be tough and dry. Cook the chicken until it is just cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  • Shred the chicken finely. This will help the dip to have a smooth and creamy texture.
  • Use a good quality cream cheese. A low-quality cream cheese will be grainy and have a sour taste. Use a full-fat cream cheese for the best results.
  • Don't overmix the dip. Overmixing will make the dip rubbery. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
  • Serve the dip immediately. Chicken dip is best served fresh and warm.
  • Garnish the dip with your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings include shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, green onions, and crumbled bacon.

Conclusion:

Frank's chicken dip is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a dip that is sure to be a hit with your friends and family. So next time you're looking for a tasty and crowd-pleasing snack, give Frank's chicken dip a try. You won't be disappointed!
