PARTY AND HOLIDAY FOUR-CHEESE PATE (EASY)
One of my favorite "fancy dancy" dishes to make for parties, potlucks, holidays and such! Very easy to make and so very good! Rich and creamy and wonderful on fresh apple slices or crackers. This feeds a small crowd, but leftovers keep very well in the fridge. ;) Enjoy! :D (Photo from Taste of Home)

Tips:
- Use a variety of cheeses. The key to a great four-cheese pâté is to use a variety of cheeses that will complement each other in terms of flavor and texture. A good combination is to use a hard cheese, a soft cheese, a blue cheese, and a spreadable cheese.
- Shred the cheeses finely. This will help the cheeses to blend together smoothly and evenly in the pâté.
- Use fresh herbs and spices. Fresh herbs and spices will add flavor and depth to the pâté. Some good choices include chives, parsley, thyme, rosemary, and garlic.
- Chill the pâté before serving. This will help the flavors to develop and meld together.
- Serve the pâté with crackers or bread. The pâté can be served as an appetizer or as a light lunch or dinner.
