FLEXIBLE-FLAVOUR CLASSIC DROP COOKIES
This drop cookie recipe has a base mix that is made so the measures of the secondary/flavour ingredients are easily added in or substituted without having to change the base recipe's chemistry. I have made tons of variants, and brought these to my office; they never tasted the same. I've done these with Chocolate Chips, almonds, walnuts, dried cranberries, coffee, dark chocolate and caramel bits.

Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the cookies. Look for fresh butter, eggs, and flour.
- Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Chill the dough: Chilling the dough before baking will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
- Bake the cookies at the right temperature: The ideal temperature for baking cookies is 375 degrees Fahrenheit. If the oven is too hot, the cookies will brown too quickly and the centers will be undercooked. If the oven is too cool, the cookies will take too long to bake and they will be dry.
- Don't overbake the cookies: Cookies are done baking when the edges are golden brown and the centers are set. Overbaking the cookies will make them dry and crumbly.
Conclusion:
These classic drop cookies are a delicious and versatile treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With a few simple tips, you can make perfect cookies every time. So next time you're in the mood for a sweet snack, give this recipe a try!
