PINEAPPLE BARS
Received this recipe in an email; the picture sold me. Could also add a little coconut to give it that "tropical" flavor. Posting for future use... *cooling time not included in prep/cooking times*

- Spread with cooled filling.

- While warm cut into bars and remove from pan.
Tips:
- Mise en Place: Before starting, make sure you have all of your ingredients and tools ready. This will help you stay organized and prevent any scrambling.
- Use Fresh Pineapple: Fresh pineapple is essential for the best flavor. If you can, use a ripe pineapple that is juicy and sweet.
- Cream the Butter and Sugar Properly: This step is important for creating a light and fluffy batter. Cream the butter and sugar together until they are pale and fluffy, and the sugar has dissolved.
- Add Eggs One at a Time: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. This will help prevent the batter from curdling.
- Don't Overmix the Batter: Overmixing the batter can make the bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the Bars Until Golden Brown: The bars are done baking when they are golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Conclusion:
These flaky pineapple bars are the perfect treat for any occasion. They are easy to make and always a hit with friends and family. With their sweet and tangy pineapple filling and flaky crust, these bars are sure to be a favorite.
