Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh, ripe fruit. If your fruit is not ripe, you can ripen it by placing it in a paper bag with a banana or apple for a day or two.
  • If you don't have time to chop the fruit by hand, you can use a food processor. Just be sure to pulse it a few times, so the fruit doesn't become too mushy.
  • Add a little bit of heat to your salsa by adding a jalapeño pepper or some cayenne pepper.
  • If you want a sweeter salsa, add a little bit of honey or agave nectar.
  • For a more savory salsa, add a little bit of cumin or chili powder.
  • Serve your salsa immediately, or refrigerate it for later use.

Fruit salsa is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed as an appetizer, snack, or side dish. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a healthy and refreshing dish, give fruit salsa a try!
