Tips:

  • Use day-old rice for the best results. Freshly cooked rice will be too moist and will not fry properly.
  • Chop the vegetables into small, even pieces so that they cook evenly.
  • Use a large wok or skillet so that the rice has plenty of room to spread out and fry.
  • Heat the oil over high heat before adding the rice. This will help to create a crispy crust on the rice.
  • Stir the rice constantly while it is frying. This will help to prevent it from sticking to the pan and burning.
  • Add the eggs and vegetables towards the end of the cooking process. This will help to prevent them from overcooking.
  • Season the rice to taste with salt, pepper, and other seasonings.
  • Serve the fried rice immediately while it is hot and crispy.

Conclusion:

Filipino fried rice, also known as morisqueta tostada, is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a quick and easy meal.
