FIGS STUFFED WITH GOAT CHEESE
Here's a super-simple appetizer. Fresh figs are halved and stuffed with any creamy, flavorful cheese. A good blue works, but creamy goat cheese, drizzled with balsamic vinegar, is even more crowd-pleasing.

Tips:
- Choose ripe, fresh figs for the best flavor and texture.
- If you can't find fresh figs, you can use dried figs, but be sure to soak them in warm water for 30 minutes before using.
- Use a variety of herbs in your goat cheese mixture. Some good options include thyme, rosemary, oregano, and basil.
- If you don't have any fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs. Just be sure to use half the amount of dried herbs as fresh herbs.
- Be careful not to overstuff the figs. You want them to be full, but not so full that they burst.
- Bake the figs until they are slightly softened and the goat cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve the figs warm or at room temperature.
Conclusion:
Figs with Herbed Goat Cheese is a delicious and elegant appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. The combination of sweet figs, creamy goat cheese, and fresh herbs is simply irresistible. This dish is also very easy to make, so it's perfect for busy weeknights or last-minute entertaining.
