DELICIOUS GROUND BEEF MEDLEY

Delicious Ground Beef Medley image

This is easy but so good! You don't have to use cream of chicken and cream of mushroom. Any "cream of" soups would probably work just fine. The vegetables are also easily changed to suit your family's taste.

Time 45m

Yield 8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
pepper, to taste
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained

Steps:

  • In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and celery. Stir to break up meat. Drain.
  • Cook macaroni as directed on package. Drain.
  • In a 2 1/2-qt. casserole dish, combine the soups, milk, salt and pepper. Stir in the ground beef, macaroni, green pepper and corn.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients and equipment ready. This will help you stay organized and prevent any scrambling during the cooking process.
  • Choose the Right Beef: For this recipe, it's best to use a lean cut of beef, such as flank steak or sirloin. These cuts will cook quickly and remain tender.
  • Tenderize the Beef: To ensure that your beef is extra tender, you can marinate it for at least 30 minutes before cooking. A simple marinade made with olive oil, garlic, and herbs will do the trick.
  • Cook the Beef Properly: The key to perfectly cooked beef is to cook it over high heat until it reaches your desired doneness. Don't overcrowd the pan, or the beef will steam instead of sear.
  • Don't Forget the Vegetables: The vegetables in this recipe add color, texture, and flavor. Make sure to choose fresh, crisp vegetables and cook them until they are tender but still retain their vibrant colors.
  • Use a Flavorful Sauce: The sauce is what brings all the flavors of this dish together. Make sure to use a flavorful sauce that complements the beef and vegetables.
  • Serve Immediately: This dish is best served immediately after cooking, while the beef is still hot and the vegetables are still crisp.

Conclusion:

Fiesta Beef Medley is a quick, easy, and delicious recipe that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The combination of tender beef, colorful vegetables, and flavorful sauce makes this dish a hit with everyone.
