1 package (14 ounces) reduced-fat smoked turkey sausage, thinly sliced
2 cups cut fresh asparagus (1-1/2-inch pieces)
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan or Romano cheese

Steps:

  • Cook fettuccine according to package directions. , Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, saute sausage, asparagus, mushrooms, onion, garlic and thyme in oil until vegetables are tender. 18 ounces fresh fettuccine
2 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
12 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cups grated Parmesan
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
Pinch freshly grated nutmeg
Salt and freshly ground white pepper

Steps:

  • Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to the bite, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes. Drain. Stir 2 cups of the cream and the lemon juice in a heavy large skillet to blend. Add the butter and cook over medium heat just until the butter melts, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat. Add the pasta and toss. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of cream, and Parmesan to the cream sauce in the skillet. Add the lemon zest, nutmeg, salt, and white pepper. 24 ounces dry fettuccini pasta
1 cup butter
¾ pint heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
1 dash garlic salt
¾ cup grated Romano cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
