ALREADY FOR MEATLOAF PINWHEEL

Already for Meatloaf Pinwheel image

As a single working mother of three growing boys, I was always looking for good "make ahead" recipes.. I found this one and it was a winner. A lot of times, I would make it the night before and call the boys to "slice and bake" so it would be ready when I got home..The recipe calls for CheezWhiz for the cheese spread. Recipe prep time does not include rice preparation or chill time.(you can use leftover rice)

  • Use High-Quality Ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will greatly impact the final dish. Choose fresh, flavorful ingredients whenever possible.
  • Don't Overmix the Meatloaf Mixture: Overmixing can make the meatloaf tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use a Meat Thermometer: Cooking the meatloaf to the proper temperature is essential for safety and flavor. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the Meatloaf Rest: After cooking, let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This will help the juices redistribute and keep the meatloaf moist.
