Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use russet potatoes. They have a high starch content, which helps them to become crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
  • Cut the potatoes into evenly sized cubes so that they cook evenly.
  • Soak the potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. This will help to remove excess starch and prevent them from sticking together.
  • Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, and garlic powder before cooking. You can also add other seasonings, such as paprika, chili powder, or cumin.
  • Cook the potatoes in a large skillet over medium heat. Do not overcrowd the skillet, or the potatoes will not cook evenly.
  • Stir the potatoes occasionally so that they cook evenly on all sides.
  • Once the potatoes are cooked through, add the cheese, bacon, and green onions. Stir until the cheese is melted and the bacon is evenly distributed.
  • Serve the potatoes immediately, while they are still hot.

Conclusion:

Loaded breakfast potatoes are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. They can be served as a side dish or as a main course. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a dish that is sure to please everyone at your table.
