1 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 large egg, room temperature
2 cups 2% milk, room temperature
1/2 cup butter, melted
1-1/2 cups raisins
2 tablespoons caraway seeds, optional

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl, whisk egg, milk and butter. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. 1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup raisins
2 large eggs, room temperature, beaten
1-1/2 cups buttermilk
1 tablespoon canola oil
