Time 8h40m

Yield 4

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup orange juice
⅓ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
¼ cup olive oil
2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
2 green onions, sliced
4 thick-cut boneless center cut pork chops

Steps:

  • Mix the orange juice, soy sauce, olive oil, rosemary, and green onions in a large plastic zipper bag; place the chops into the bag, squeeze out the air, and seal the bag. Refrigerate to marinate 8 hours or overnight.
  • The next day, preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil the grate.
  • Remove the chops from the marinade, and discard the used marinade. Shake excess marinade from the chops, and grill until pork is browned, no longer pink inside, and shows good grill marks, about 15 minutes per side. An instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a chop should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops: Look for pork chops that are at least 1 inch thick and have a good amount of marbling. This will help ensure that they stay juicy and flavorful during grilling.
  • Marinate the pork chops: Marinating the pork chops in a flavorful marinade will help tenderize them and add extra flavor. You can use a variety of marinades, such as a simple olive oil and herb marinade, a tangy vinegar-based marinade, or a sweet and savory marinade made with honey and soy sauce.
  • Preheat the grill: Make sure the grill is preheated to a medium-high heat before grilling the pork chops. This will help sear the outside of the pork chops and prevent them from sticking to the grill.
  • Grill the pork chops: Grill the pork chops for 8-10 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through. The internal temperature of the pork chops should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the pork chops rest: Once the pork chops are cooked, let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the pork chops, making them more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Grilled pork chops are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that can be enjoyed all year round. By following these tips, you can grill perfect pork chops every time. So fire up the grill and get cooking!
