Time 30m

Yield 10 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (28 ounce) bag frozen corn, thawed
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/4 lb butter
salt
pepper

Steps:

  • Melt butter and cream cheese.
  • Stir in thawed corn.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
  • Note: If corn is cold the sauce ingredients will lump up when it's added.
  • It will melt out smooth again!

Tips:

  • Use fresh corn. Fresh corn has a sweeter, more flavorful taste than frozen or canned corn.
  • Cook the corn on high heat. This will help to caramelize the natural sugars in the corn and give it a slightly smoky flavor.
  • Don't overcook the corn. Overcooked corn is tough and chewy. Cook the corn just until it is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season the corn with your favorite seasonings. Salt and pepper are always a good choice, but you can also add other spices, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or chili powder.
  • Serve the corn immediately. Corn is best enjoyed fresh off the grill or out of the pot.

Conclusion:

Corn on the cob is a delicious and versatile side dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Whether you like it grilled, roasted, or boiled, there is a corn on the cob recipe out there for everyone. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy side dish, give corn on the cob a try. You won't be disappointed!
