CHEDDAR BRUSCHETTA

Cheddar Bruschetta image

Here is a fine appetizer and a different take on bruschetta. It still has the tomatoes you love but adds some cheddar to make it a creamier finger food that melts in your mouth. I served it to my guests and family and they really enjoyed it. There were no leftovers so make a double batch if you have a really big crowd. Served hot from the oven makes this one you can serve any time of year. I found this recipe from Vicki Thompson in a 2009 Taste of Home Summer appetizers booklet. Makes two dozen of the French baguette size but if your French bread slices are larger it will make one dozen. Enjoy! ChefDLH

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the bruschetta will taste. Use fresh bread, ripe tomatoes, and flavorful bacon and cheese.
  • Toast the bread well: This will help the bread to be crispy and sturdy enough to hold the toppings.
  • Don't overload the bruschetta: You want each bite to have a balance of flavors, so don't pile on too many toppings.
  • Serve the bruschetta immediately: The bread will start to get soggy if it sits for too long, so serve it as soon as it's made.

Conclusion:

Cheddar bacon bruschetta is a delicious and easy appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It's made with just a few simple ingredients, and it can be ready in under 30 minutes. If you're looking for a crowd-pleasing snack or appetizer, this is the recipe for you.
