FAMOUS DAVE'S CORNBREAD WITH JALAPENO HONEY GLAZE
This is BY FAR the best cornbread I have ever had. I got it from a special section of the Minnesota Monthly Magazine a few years back. I had a lot of the glaze left over, so you can easily make ½ of the glaze recipe and have enough. I made cornbread in a 9x13 inch pan and it was fully cooked in 25 minutes, which would lead me to believe that cooking time for the muffin tins may need to be reduced (I recommend checking after 15-18 minutes). Enjoy!

Tips:
- Use Fresh Ingredients: Opt for fresh, high-quality ingredients to ensure the best flavor and texture in your cornbread. Fresh corn kernels, buttermilk, and eggs make a significant difference.
- Follow the Recipe Accurately: While some recipes may allow for variations, it's generally advisable to follow the recipe precisely during your first attempt. This helps you establish a baseline and understand the essential steps and ingredients.
- Don't Overmix the Batter: Overmixing can result in a dense, dry cornbread. Mix just until the ingredients are combined, avoiding overworking the batter.
- Use a Cast Iron Skillet: If you have one, a cast iron skillet is an excellent choice for baking cornbread. It provides even heat distribution and gives the cornbread a crispy exterior and tender interior.
- Let the Cornbread Cool Slightly Before Serving: Allow the cornbread to cool for a few minutes before cutting and serving. This helps it hold its shape better and prevents crumbling.
