Steps:
- Brown the Ground Beef with the Onion, Salt & Pepper in skillet. Could use more or less onion to suit your own taste.
- Stir in Soup & Ketchup. Could use more or less ketchup to suit your own taste.
- Simmer for approximately 20 minutes & serve on the Hamburger Buns.
- If making multiple batches for a large amount of people, it can be mixed together in a Crock pot after browning the Ground Beef & cook on low for 2-4 hours.
Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients. Fresh ground beef, vegetables, and herbs will give your sloppy joes the best flavor.
- Don't overcook the beef. Overcooked beef will be tough and dry. Cook it just until it is browned and no longer pink in the center.
- Use a variety of vegetables. This will add flavor, texture, and nutrients to your sloppy joes. Some good options include onions, bell peppers, carrots, and celery.
- Use a flavorful sauce. The sauce is what really makes sloppy joes special. Use a combination of ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to create a delicious and tangy sauce.
- Serve sloppy joes on a soft bun. This will help to soak up the sauce and make the sandwich more enjoyable to eat.
Conclusion:
Sloppy joes are a classic American comfort food that is easy to make and always a hit with the family. With a few simple tips, you can make the best sloppy joes that everyone will love. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give sloppy joes a try. You won't be disappointed!
