ESPRESSO-WALNUT BROWNIES

These are really great espresso brownies and you can taste the coffee, but it's not overpowering. I make them for the office quite a lot and they're always gone the same day. The refrigeration step is important - it's hard to wait, but it makes a difference!

Tips:

  • To achieve the perfect fudgy texture, make sure to beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy and add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Use high-quality espresso powder for the best flavor. You can also use strongly brewed coffee, but the flavor will be less intense.
  • Don't over-mix the batter. Over-mixing can result in a tough, chewy brownie.
  • Chopped walnuts add a delicious crunch to the brownies. You can also use other nuts, such as pecans or almonds.
  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of semisweet chocolate.
  • To make gluten-free brownies, use gluten-free flour.
  • Brownies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

These espresso walnut brownies are the perfect treat for any chocolate lover. They are fudgy, chewy, and packed with flavor. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can easily make these delicious brownies at home. So next time you're craving something sweet, give this recipe a try.
