Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and equipment ready to go. This will help you stay organized and prevent any scrambling.
  • Use a large skillet or wok: This will give you plenty of room to cook the chicken and green beans without overcrowding them.
  • Cook the chicken in batches: If you try to cook all of the chicken at once, it will likely steam instead of brown. Cooking it in batches will ensure that it gets crispy and flavorful.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When you add the green beans to the pan, make sure you don't overcrowd it. Otherwise, they will steam instead of stir-fry.
  • Use a high heat: Stir-frying is a quick-cooking method, so you need to use a high heat to get the best results. This will help the chicken and green beans cook quickly and evenly.
  • Season to taste: Be sure to taste the dish before serving and adjust the seasonings as needed. You may want to add more soy sauce, black pepper, or chili flakes.

Conclusion:

Emeril's Favorite Chinese Chicken with Green Beans is a quick, easy, and delicious dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The chicken is crispy and flavorful, the green beans are tender-crisp, and the sauce is savory and addictive. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
