ELEGANT CHICKEN

This is so easy! I use it when I'm having people over for dinner because it can easily be doubled to feed a large gathering or dinner party. Once you put it in the oven, you can forget about it for 2 hours and move on to something else. It's always a huge hit with our guests! Serve over rice and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and equipment ready to go. This will help you stay organized and avoid any scrambling.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients you use, the better your dish will taste. If possible, use organic, free-range, and locally-sourced ingredients.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking chicken, make sure you don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the chicken from cooking evenly and will make it more likely to stick to the pan.
  • Cook the chicken over medium heat: Cooking the chicken over medium heat will help to prevent it from burning and will allow it to cook evenly throughout.
  • Use a meat thermometer: The best way to ensure that the chicken is cooked through is to use a meat thermometer. Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the chicken breast and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the chicken rest before serving: After cooking the chicken, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Chicken Athena is a delicious and elegant dish that is perfect for a special occasion. With its crispy skin, tender meat, and flavorful sauce, this dish is sure to impress your guests. By following the tips above, you can create a restaurant-quality Chicken Athena at home.
