Tips:
- Choose a lean ground beef: Using a leaner ground beef (90% lean or higher) will help reduce the amount of grease in the meatloaf.
- Use fresh vegetables: Fresh vegetables will add flavor and texture to the meatloaf. Grated zucchini, carrots, and onions are classic additions, but you can also try spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
- Don't overmix the meatloaf: Overmixing the meatloaf can make it tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
- Cook the meatloaf at a low temperature: Cooking the meatloaf at a low temperature (325°F) will help prevent it from drying out.
- Let the meatloaf rest before slicing: Letting the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing will help it hold together better.
Conclusion:
Electric skillet meatloaf is a delicious and easy way to make a classic comfort food. It is perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion. With a few simple tips, you can make a meatloaf that is moist, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
