Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your cookies will taste. This is especially true for the butter, eggs, and milk.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies at the right temperature: The cookies should be baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes. If you bake them at a higher temperature, they will brown too quickly and may burn.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before frosting them: This will help the frosting set properly.

Conclusion:

These eggnog cookies with buttercream frosting are a delicious and festive holiday treat. They are easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Whether you are looking for a cookie to serve at a holiday party or to simply enjoy at home, these cookies are sure to be a hit.
