A wonderful addition to any ice cream. Turn any vanilla ice cream into cookie dough. Much better than the store-bought cookie dough ice cream. NOTE: This does not include the ice cream recipe--just the dough.

BEST EGGLESS COOKIE DOUGH (FOR 1)

Best Eggless Cookie Dough (For 1) image

I was tired of trying eggless cookie dough recipes that didn't taste like the "real" cookie dough we all love and adore. I found that as long as you aren't baking them, simply substituting milk for the eggs works out perfectly! Also, I've tried cutting down on the margarine a bit and it turns out fine. This recipe can be quite easily doubled, tripled, whatever, depending on how many people are in the mood for cookie dough... P.S.- try freezing in balls or spoonfulls!

Tips:

  • To ensure the dough has a soft and chewy texture, use all-purpose flour and cornstarch in a 2:1 ratio.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before using it. This will help the dough to firm up and make it easier to handle.
  • If the dough is too sticky, add more cornstarch, one tablespoon at a time, until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • If the dough is too dry, add a little bit of plant-based milk, one tablespoon at a time, until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • Be creative with your add-ins! You can use chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, or anything else you like.
  • Store the cookie dough in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
