Tips:

  • Choose ripe avocados that are slightly soft when gently squeezed. Avocados that are too hard will not be creamy enough, while overripe avocados will be mushy.
  • If your avocados are not ripe enough, you can speed up the ripening process by placing them in a paper bag with an apple or banana. The ethylene gas produced by these fruits will help the avocados ripen faster.
  • Once your avocados are ripe, store them in the refrigerator for up to a week. When you are ready to use them, let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before slicing and preparing.
  • To make the egg-in-avocado hole, use a sharp knife to slice the avocado in half lengthwise. Then, use a spoon to scoop out the pit and a small amount of the avocado flesh from the center of each half.
  • Crack an egg into the center of each avocado half. Season the eggs with salt and pepper, and then top with your favorite toppings. You can add your favorite toppings, such as:
    • Sliced bacon or ham
    • Chopped tomatoes or onions
    • Shredded cheese
    • Salsa or guacamole
    • Hot sauce
  • Bake the avocado halves in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness.
  • Serve the egg-in-avocado halves immediately, garnished with fresh herbs, such as cilantro or parsley.

Conclusion:
