- Use a well-seasoned cast iron skillet. This will help to create a flavorful and crispy skin on the turkey.
- Brown the turkey in batches. This will prevent the pan from overcrowding and ensure that the turkey cooks evenly.
- Make sure the turkey is cooked through before glazing it. The internal temperature of the turkey should be 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh.
- Use a flavorful glaze. The glaze is what will give the turkey its delicious flavor, so make sure to use one that you enjoy. Try using a glaze made with apples, honey, or maple syrup.
- Glaze the turkey several times during cooking. This will help to keep the turkey moist and prevent it from drying out.
- Allow the turkey to rest before carving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the turkey, making it more tender and flavorful.
