EASY THAI FRIED BANANAS
Fried bananas are a popular snack food or dessert in Thailand. They are often made with a batter, but this is a quick and easy batterless method! Yummy as a dessert with ice cream and chocolate syrup, or plain as a snack anytime!

Steps:
- Cut each banana in half crosswise. Lay the banana in the center of the spring roll wrapper, with the wrapper set diagonally. Fold in the two points of the wrapper on the ends of the banana, and then fold up one side and tuck it over and under the banana, then roll until the wrapper is snugly around the banana. Secure the end by dipping your finger in a little water and wetting the ends of the wrapper to "glue" them shut.
- Put about 1 inch of vegetable oil into a frying pan, and heat until it is hot enough to make the banana sizzle when it is placed into the oil. Reduce the heat to medium high and fry, turning until all sides are golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve while they are hot and crunchy!

THAI FRIED BANANAS
This is one of my favorite recipes. I have it every time I go to a Thai restaurant topped with coconut ice cream or drizzled with honey. If you have never tried it, now is the time, it's so good! I use Nam, a variety of banana which can be found at most Asian Markets. You can also use sweet potatoes in this recipe.

These bananas make lovely sweet snacks. I don't think it originated in Thailand because it is found all throughout Asian. This is my mother's version of the recipe.

Tips:
- Choose ripe but firm bananas for frying. Overripe bananas will be too soft and will break apart during frying. - Slice the bananas into uniform pieces so that they cook evenly. - Use a heavy-bottomed pan or wok for frying to prevent the bananas from sticking. - Heat the oil over medium-high heat before adding the bananas. This will help to prevent the bananas from absorbing too much oil. - Fry the bananas in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. This will help to ensure that the bananas cook evenly. - Once the bananas are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the pan and drain them on paper towels. - Serve the bananas immediately with your favorite dipping sauce. Conclusion:
Thai fried bananas are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert. They are perfect for a quick snack or a special occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a dish that is both flavorful and visually appealing. So next time you are looking for a sweet treat, give Thai fried bananas a try. You won't be disappointed!
