Two of my favorites...shrimp & spinach, topped off with a cream sauce. One of the first recipes I ever made for a boyfriend. The boy is long gone, but I still love the recipe.

paprika
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

  • Add salt, pepper and enough paprika for a rosy color.
  • Pour sauce over shrimp and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

Tips for Making Easy Shrimp Florentine and Penne Pasta:

  • Use fresh shrimp: Fresh shrimp will give your dish the best flavor. If you can't find fresh shrimp, frozen shrimp will also work.
  • Cook the shrimp properly: Shrimp cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked shrimp will be tough and rubbery.
  • Use a good quality Alfredo sauce: The Alfredo sauce is a key component of this dish, so make sure to use a good quality sauce. You can either make your own Alfredo sauce or use a store-bought sauce.
  • Don't skimp on the spinach: Spinach is a healthy and flavorful addition to this dish. Don't be afraid to use a lot of spinach, as it will wilt down during cooking.
  • Serve immediately: This dish is best served immediately after it is made. The pasta will start to absorb the sauce and become soggy if it sits for too long.

Conclusion:

Easy Shrimp Florentine and Penne Pasta is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of shrimp, Alfredo sauce, spinach, and penne pasta is sure to please everyone at the table. This dish is also a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables. The spinach is hidden in the sauce, so they won't even know they're eating it! So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give Easy Shrimp Florentine and Penne Pasta a try. You won't be disappointed!
