¼ cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ⅛ cups mascarpone cheese
24 ladyfingers
1 ½ cups brewed coffee

1/4 cup superfine sugar
1 1/2 cups very strong espresso or good quality coffee, cooled
16 ladyfingers

1/4 cup sugar, divided

3 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
2 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
