Time 45m

Number Of Ingredients 5

3/4 jar(s) creamy peanut butter (16. oz jar)
1 lb box powdered sugar (approx 3 1/2 cups)
1 stick unsalted butter
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
8 oz chocolate almond bark

Steps:

  • 1. Line large cookie sheet with "wax paper" Mix all ingredients (except Chocolate) together in large bowl with your hands (This is messy, but the best way) After the mixture comes together, start rolling 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet and put in freezer for about 20 min. ( Makes about 45-55)
  • 2. After 20 mins take out peanut butter balls, in a medium glass bowl melt chocolate in microwave. (I use 25 second intervals until chocolate is melted) Usually about 1- 1 1/2mins. Give it a quick stir and start dipping P/B Balls "using a toothpick" working at a fast pace, as the chocolate will cool off fast. Place back on cookie sheet a let cool for about 25 mins. Enjoy!!

Tips:

  • Use creamy peanut butter: This will result in a smoother, creamier texture for your peanut butter balls.
  • Chill the peanut butter mixture before rolling: This will make it easier to handle and prevent the balls from sticking to your hands.
  • Use a variety of coatings: Don't be limited to just chocolate chips. Try using chopped nuts, sprinkles, or even shredded coconut.
  • Get creative with your flavors: Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract or cinnamon to the peanut butter mixture for a different flavor profile.
  • Store the peanut butter balls in the refrigerator: They will keep for up to two weeks.
