Tips:
- Use fresh, ripe peaches for the best flavor. If peaches are not in season, you can use frozen peaches that have been thawed and drained.
- Peel the peaches before slicing them. This will help the peaches to cook evenly and prevent the skins from toughening.
- If you don't have a pastry cutter, you can use two forks to blend the butter into the flour mixture.
- Be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the cobbler tough.
- Bake the cobbler until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Serve the cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Conclusion:
This easy peach cobbler recipe is a delicious and classic dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its simple ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions, this recipe is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
