EASY LIME CILANTRO RICE

Easy Lime Cilantro Rice image

I was inspired to create this recipe after a major retailer stopped carrying a favorite boxed version of cilantro lime rice mix, leaving a hole in my rotation of meals. My version is budget friendly and has a fresher taste and aroma than the boxed version, and I hope others enjoy it.

Tips:

- Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. - Be sure to rinse the rice thoroughly before cooking to remove any starch. - Use a heavy-bottomed pot to cook the rice to prevent sticking. - Don't stir the rice while it's cooking, as this can make it gummy. - Let the rice rest for a few minutes before fluffing it with a fork. - For a more flavorful rice, use a flavorful broth or stock instead of water. - Add your favorite mix-ins, such as vegetables, protein, or nuts, to make a complete meal.
