Steps:
- Brown meat (drain grease).
- Cut up vegetables.
- Put everything in a pot and boil on stove around 3 hours covered(crock pots also work, but I've found it doesn't turn out as good. It is always better heated up the next day).
- That's it.
Tips for Making the Best Chili:
- Use a variety of beans: This will give your chili a more complex flavor and texture. Some good options include kidney beans, black beans, and pinto beans.
- Choose a good quality chili powder: This is the key to a great-tasting chili. Look for a chili powder that is fresh and has a deep, rich color.
- Don't be afraid to experiment with different spices: There are many different spices that can be added to chili to give it a unique flavor. Some good options include cumin, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Let your chili simmer for a long time: This will allow the flavors to develop and meld together. The longer you simmer your chili, the better it will taste.
- Serve your chili with a variety of toppings: This will allow your guests to customize their bowls of chili to their liking. Some good options include shredded cheese, sour cream, diced onions, and avocado.
