Tips:
- Make sure to brown the hamburger meat thoroughly before adding it to the casserole. This will help to develop flavor and prevent the meat from becoming dry.
- Use a variety of vegetables in your casserole. This will add flavor, color, and nutrients. Some good options include corn, peas, carrots, celery, and onions.
- Don't be afraid to experiment with different seasonings. A little bit of garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika can go a long way in enhancing the flavor of the casserole.
- Use a good quality cheese. This will make a big difference in the overall flavor of the casserole. A sharp cheddar or a Monterey Jack are both good choices.
- Don't overcook the casserole. The hamburger meat should be cooked through, but the vegetables should still be slightly crisp.
