Tips:

  • Use a food processor to quickly and easily crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can crush the graham crackers in a resealable plastic bag with a rolling pin.
  • Make sure the butter is cold and cut into small pieces before adding it to the graham cracker crumbs. This will help prevent the butter from melting and making the dough too greasy.
  • Be careful not to overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set around the edges. Overbaking will make the cookies dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

These easy graham cracker cookies are a delicious and versatile treat. They can be enjoyed on their own or used as a base for other desserts, such as pies and ice cream sundaes.
