4-5 cloves garlic (minced)
28 oz chicken broth ((3 3/4 cups))
2 1/2 c. milk (add more if needed)

1 tsp. basil
2/3 c. Parmesan cheese
4 c. broccoli (optional)
2 chicken breasts

  • Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer stirring occasionally for 16-20 minutes or until noodles have cooked through. If you are wanting to add broccoli, add it after about 10 minutes into the simmering process.
  • Stir in Parmesan when noodles are finished cooking and add a little milk if necessary if necessary to reach your desired consistency.

  • Cook the noodles al dente: Al dente noodles will have a slightly firm bite and will hold their shape better in the sauce.
  • Use a flavorful broth: The broth you use to cook the noodles will add flavor to the sauce, so choose a broth that you enjoy the taste of.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the noodles, don't overcrowd the pan or the noodles will stick together. Cook the noodles in batches if necessary.
  • Use a good quality cheese: The cheese you use in the sauce is important, so choose a good quality cheese that melts well.
  • Add the cheese slowly: When adding the cheese to the sauce, do it slowly and stir constantly to prevent the cheese from clumping.
  • Season the sauce to taste: Once the sauce is made, taste it and adjust the seasonings as needed.
