1 egg
1/4 c milk

crumpled saltine crackers, as needed

  • Milk: Use whole milk for the creamed corn for a richer flavor. You can also use low-fat or skim milk, but the creamed corn will be thinner.
  • Sugar: Sugar is added to the creamed corn to balance out the saltiness of the butter and milk. You can adjust the amount of sugar to your taste.
  • Salt: Salt is added to the creamed corn to enhance the flavor. You can adjust the amount of salt to your taste.
  • Pepper: Pepper is added to the creamed corn for a little bit of spice. You can add more or less pepper to your taste.
  • Chopped parsley: Chopped parsley is added to the creamed corn for a garnish. You can also use other herbs, such as chives or thyme.
