Tips:

  • Use a good quality cinnamon sugar mixture: This will make all the difference in the flavor of your cinnamon puffs. You can make your own cinnamon sugar mixture by combining equal parts ground cinnamon and granulated sugar, or you can buy a pre-made mixture from the store.
  • Chill the dough before rolling it out: This will help to prevent the dough from sticking to your hands and will make it easier to roll out. If you don't have time to chill the dough, you can also place it in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Be careful not to overfill the puffs: If you overfill them, they will be difficult to seal and will burst open while baking. Aim to fill each puff with about 1 tablespoon of filling.
  • Bake the puffs until they are golden brown: This will ensure that they are cooked through and have a crispy exterior. Keep an eye on them while they are baking so that they don't overcook.

Conclusion:

Cinnamon puffs are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are a great way to use up leftover puff pastry dough, and they can be customized with your favorite fillings. Whether you like them simple or filled with something sweet or savory, cinnamon puffs are sure to be a hit.
