EASY CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA
This was found on allrecipes.com. The original recipe called for a whopping 7 teaspoons of salt! We cut that considerably when we made it, and it was delicious, but still very salty. This version is salted to taste. We served this with basmati rice and it was yummy!

- Position racks in top third and bottom third of oven; preheat to 400°F. Arrange onions in thin layer on large rimmed baking sheet to form bed for chicken. Top with chicken pieces in single layer, spacing apart for even roasting (chicken will still be coated with marinade). Discard remaining marinade.

- An Indian spice mixture; available in the spice section of many supermarkets and at Indian markets.
Tips:
- To make the chicken masala more flavorful, use a good quality garam masala. You can make your own garam masala or buy it from the store.
- If you don't have any heavy cream, you can use coconut milk or yogurt instead.
- If you want a spicier chicken masala, add more chili powder or cayenne pepper.
- Serve chicken masala with rice, naan, or roti.
Conclusion:
Chicken masala is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It can be made with simple ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry. The best part about chicken masala is that it can be customized to your own taste. If you like it spicy, add more chili powder. If you want it creamy, add more heavy cream. And if you want it vegetarian, simply omit the chicken. No matter how you make it, chicken masala is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
