Time 30m

Yield 10-20 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 lb ground beef
1 (1 1/4 ounce) packet taco seasoning
1 (16 ounce) package Velveeta cheese
1 (16 ounce) jar medium chunky salsa (or salsa of your choice)

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning as directed on packet. We usually use a little less water though.
  • Chunk the Velveeta and add to crockpot.
  • Pour in jar of salsa and add the prepared meat.
  • Let melt together in the crockpot, stirring occasionally.
  • At times, we have been in a hurry and used the microwave to help speed up the melting process for the Velveeta. Then just add the melted Velveeta to the other ingredients in the crockpot to keep warm and melty for dipping!
  • We have also used Mexican style Velveeta and Pepper jack, and it was just as good. Feel free to experiment.

EASY, CHEESY NACHO BEEF DIP RECIPE

Provided by Rhea

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 lb of lean ground beef (454g)
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 jar (or batch) of salsa (700g)
bag of tortilla chips

Steps:

  • Using the Tupperwave Stack Cooker with Colander, cook ground beef in the microwave for 4-5 minutes on High power, stirring once, until browned. Discard fat and juices, wipe container. (For evenly fine ground beef, use the Tupperware Quick Chef!) Combine cooked ground beef, salsa and cheese in the Casserole, or Heat'n'Serve Container and reheat on Medium power for 4-6 minutes to bring to serving temp. Stir well, and serve as a hot dip with nacho chips. Create your own Casserole Sensation-- add cooked pasta to leftover dip. Freezes well in the Vent'N'Serve or Heat'n'Serve. VARIATIONS: Use cheese sauce instead of salsa. Also by changing the type of salsa used you can change the 'heat' and taste of the dip. Try a salsa that has pineapple and it takes on a sweet fruity taste kids really like.

Tips:

  • Use a good quality cheese: A sharp cheddar cheese or a combination of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese will give you the best flavor.
  • Don't overcook the beef: The beef should be cooked just until it is no longer pink in the middle. Overcooked beef will be tough and chewy.
  • Use a variety of toppings: This will add flavor and texture to the dip. Some good options include diced tomatoes, onions, peppers, jalapeƱos, sour cream, and guacamole.
  • Serve the dip warm: This will help the cheese to melt and become gooey. You can keep the dip warm in a slow cooker or on a chafing dish.

Conclusion:

Cheesy nacho beef dip is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any party or gathering. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a dip that is sure to be a hit with everyone. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy appetizer, give this cheesy nacho beef dip a try. You won't be disappointed!
