Tips:
- For the best flavor, use fresh apples that are crisp and tart, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
- Don't overcook the apples. They should be tender but still hold their shape.
- Be careful not to overbeat the cookie dough. Overbeating will make the cookies tough.
- Chill the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
- Bake the cookies until they are golden brown around the edges and the center is set.
- Let the cookies cool completely before frosting them. This will help the frosting set properly.

These easy caramel apple cookie bars are a delicious and festive treat that are perfect for any occasion. They're made with simple ingredients and can be easily customized to your liking. So next time you're looking for a sweet and satisfying snack, give these cookie bars a try!
