6 granny smith apples - med
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1/2 c quick oats
3 Tbsp dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 c butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  • 2. Peel, core and slice the apples. Spread the apple evenly on the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  • 3. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oats, brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Pour the melted butter over the top of the dry ingredients. Mix with a fork until it looks crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the apples.
