Time 1h30m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 lb hamburger
1 large onion
1 cup rice
1 head cabbage
1 -2 can tomato soup
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Fry hamburger with onion.

Tips:

  • Choose the right cabbage. Look for a head of cabbage that is firm and heavy, with tightly packed leaves. Avoid heads that have any signs of damage or wilting.
  • Prepare the cabbage leaves properly. Blanch the cabbage leaves in boiling water for a few minutes, until they are pliable. This will make them easier to roll and prevent them from tearing.
  • Use a variety of fillings. You can use any type of ground meat, such as beef, pork, or turkey. You can also add vegetables, such as rice, onions, and carrots. Be creative and experiment with different flavors.
  • Roll the cabbage rolls tightly. This will help to keep the filling inside the rolls and prevent them from falling apart.
  • Cook the cabbage rolls thoroughly. Bake the cabbage rolls in a covered dish at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 1 hour, or until the cabbage is tender and the filling is cooked through.
  • Serve the cabbage rolls with your favorite sauce. You can use a simple tomato sauce, a creamy sauce, or a tangy yogurt sauce.
