Time 50m

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 c broccoli florets, uncooked
2 c cubed cooked chicken
1 can(s) (10.75 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 c hellman's mayonnaise
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 c cubed fresh bread
2 Tbsp butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Bring water in a saucepan to a boil. Cook broccoli, covered, until crisp-tender; drain.
  • 2. Place cooked broccoli in a greased 11x7x2-inch baking dish; set aside.
  • 3. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, soup, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, salt and curry powder. Spoon over broccoli. Top with bread crumbs and melted butter.
  • 4. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and slightly golden.

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh broccoli florets. If using frozen broccoli, thaw it completely before cooking.
  • To get the most out of your Parmesan cheese, grate it fresh. Pre-grated Parmesan cheese can often be bland and lack flavor.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the broccoli. This will prevent it from cooking evenly.
  • Cook the broccoli until it is tender but still has a slight crunch. Overcooked broccoli will be mushy and bland.
  • Season the broccoli with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or red pepper flakes.
  • Serve the broccoli parmesan immediately. It is best when it is hot and fresh.

Conclusion:

Broccoli parmesan is a simple but delicious dish that is perfect for a quick and easy meal. It is a great way to get your daily dose of vegetables, and it is also a good source of protein and calcium. If you are looking for a healthy and flavorful side dish, broccoli parmesan is a great option.
