BACON LETTUCE TOMATO (BLT) DIP-REALLY EASY & THE BEST YOU'LL
I can never make enough of this dip. This receipe is a new twist on the original by using cream cheese instead of sour cream. You cant go wrong! This was given to me by a friend but not sure why it's called BLT dip when there is no lettuce in it--don't worry, you'll wont miss it!

Steps:
- Mix mayo and cream cheese.
- Add remaining ingredients. I prefer to make this the night before.
- Serve with crackers-I think this tastes best with Ritz.
EASY BLT DIP
Although the original of this recipe was found in the Taste of Home Summer Appetizers, 2009, it has been tweaked a bit for our personal tastes. Preparation time does not include chilling the mixed dip. Apparently the website doesn't recognize it, but I DO use Hormel Real Bacon PIECES in this recipe, not bacon bits! There is a difference!

Tips:
- Choose fresh, ripe tomatoes. This will ensure that your dip has a bright, flavorful taste.
- Use high-quality bacon. Thick-cut bacon is ideal for this recipe, as it will add a smoky, crispy flavor to the dip.
- Don't overcook the bacon. Crispy bacon is best for this dip, so be careful not to overcook it.
- Use a good quality mayonnaise. This will help to create a creamy, smooth dip.
- Season the dip to taste. Add salt and pepper to taste, and you can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika.
- Serve the dip immediately. BLT dip is best when served fresh, so make it just before you're ready to eat it.
Conclusion:
BLT dip is a quick and easy appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It is creamy, flavorful, and packed with bacon, tomatoes, and lettuce. This dip is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
